Comments
Session 1 - As a Trainer
- Want power points of presentation.
- Please make ppt available to participants.
- Very Good!
- I have a lot of practice to do.
- Great program.
- Where are the notes.
- I still have a lot to learn about this. Need another session, smaller group training.
- Would like PP presentation.
- Many great thoughts.
- Good info. Really do want the power point.
- Group is flexible, working together, makes it (seems) easy to teach.
- Know your subject, don't read slide.
Session 1 - As a Trainee
- Would be more helpful if power point presentations had been included in this worksheet packet.
- E-commerce section was useful. Many abbreviations were unfamiliar and not always fully explained.
- Where are the notes.
- Slow, slow training for many people.
- Possibilities are endless.
- Speed - slow enough.
- Excellent presentations with hands-on. I'm a self-learner - didn't get opportunity to take classes in
college or high school. Especially, with hand-outs because I've a place after work where there is no access
to the internet.
- Very interesting information. I can see the traits of the different "generations" in my own experience.
- To the point, why important.
Session 2 - As a Trainer
- Very useful and will definitely utilize.
- Need to have everyone have same thing on their computers. What was on the screen was not the same as on my computer.
- Please make ppt available to us.
- Very good lots of info. Good to work through web building.
- Need immediate experience with this.
- Great program.
- Keep the group together.
- I need more training and practice sessions with examples.
- Very useful information.
- Good-handouts. Great tips - also by Eric.
- Check out links.
- See session 1. Paced at a moderate rate with group.
Session 2 - As a Trainee
- Frustrating - directions all verbal - nothing to look at if you were behind (also computer/memory
crashed twice which lost my work).
- Moving step by step when your attention is divided among computer, presenter and room screen is essential.
- Trainer went too fast at times, but knowledgeable.
- See session 1. Presenter and assistants is an excellent idea with this kind of training.
- I need to practice this a lot,but I enjoyed the session very much.
Session 3 - As a Trainer
- Group appeared 'new and interesting info' at least on a number of items. Good information as a basis
for beginning this session.
- Checklist given can be helpful in sharing relevant info with others.
- Look forward to use information and library.
- Great resource!!
- Great program.
Session 3 - As a Trainee
- Again, a good starting point in getting into this whole session.
- Lots of information presented by handouts given to make it easier to take notes/make comments - VERY HELPFUL.
- Keep us informed. Fix runtime errors on search.
Session 4 - As a Trainer
- Very good. Much better and more info than poly com.
- Great practice. Great break food.
- Was good.
- Very good.
- Need so many lap top computers for training.
- Excellent. Thanks.
- I still have more questions than answers.
- Learn valuable pointers.
- Great helps for me.
- Great session!
Session 4 - As a Trainee
- Very well done!
- Like to work my website to look better and buy books (resources).
- Good to hear information and apply it. Form for evaluation of website a little
Session 5 - As a Trainer
- Good tools for looking at sites - manner a bit harsh.
- Excellent - in depth information. Much more in depth than poly com training earlier.
- Excellent!
- There should have been fewer sites and more time to work on them.
- Fun activity.
- Very good. Good thoughts.
- Good program presentation giving website assignments.
- Beth was excellent. Lots of preparation must have gone into the presentation.
- Can see difference in web design.
- Good info and handouts.
Session 5 - As a Trainee
- Glad it wasn't one of my web sites - that was being criticized - individuals should be asked
if they mind and suggestions not such a harsh approach.
- Good beginning for success
- Learned valuable information.
Session 6 - As a Trainer
- Must be familiar with website markets.
- Business owners will have lots of questions - I'm not sure from this I have tools to answer.
- Good info.
- Good session!
Session 6 - As a Trainee
- Do more browsing and surfing plus on-line shopping.
- I didn't like the way that the websites were attacked verbally.
- Interesting - moved a bit fast.
- Would like to have had all powerpoint pages for notes.
- Would have been nice to have listing of example website URLs or even printouts.
- Direct and to the point. Not sugar coated. Saves time - much appreciated.
Session 7 - As a Trainer
Agriculture
- Like to get hold of curriculum for training.
Artisans
- Rae and Connie did a good job. Good discussions. Good ppt.
- Great information.
Tourism
Session 7 - As a Trainee
Agriculture
- Need to gear curriculum to our targeted audience.
Tourism
- OK - some repeat (not bad - need to clarify what's to be discussed.
Session 8 - As a Trainer
Agriculture
- OK.
- Basic but good. Glad to know about the new curriculum.
Tourism
- Partnership with other agencies to do training for small farm/ranch businesses.
- Very helpful from a programmatic view.
Session 8 - As a Trainee
- OK - some repeat - need to clarify what's to be talked about.
- Browse the web for use in improving websites and decide on which topic to use for training.
Session 9 - As a Trainer
- Get more training on websites and Internet services to understand prior to teaching.
- Trainer, Eric, was very knowledgeable about the subjects and presented in this workshop!!
- I really needed the digital photo part. Best of all three sections. Good new tools too. Glad I didn't miss this session.
- Much needed information.
- OK.
- Need more time with Eric. Need more of this technical stuff on digital photos and new tools.
- Absolutely the best. Great teacher - great energy. Would like more in depth training by Eric - maybe video conferencing in not in person.
- Eric needed more time.
Session 9 - As a Trainee
- Talk more to Eric for some additional tips.
- VERY INFORMATIVE!
- Glad Eric was asked to present. He's so good! Good at explaining difficult concepts. Very practical. Good humor.
- OK. Interesting - would have been nice to have had handout of power point presentation.
FEEDBACK
I Liked
- Labs - hand on.
- The power point presentations.
- Presenters were all great!
- The longer workshops to allow more in depth information. Networking with others. Stronger focus on e-Commerce.
Most useful to me was
- Digital camera training.
- Eric's session on last day - compressing photos, creating shopping carts. Many other tips the other presenters provided.
Good to network and see what others are doing. I learned a great deal. Thank you! Good job!
- Great presentations and presenters interaction with presenters and participants. Learning about e-Commerce and information
that I can use in my communities.
Information to share with clients.
To follow up with trainees, I need
- More practice in using the info gained.
- Better facility.
I want you to know
- I was filled with so much knowledge that I got so hyped up. I want to share this with others.
- I really enjoyed the conference - well planned and run - great group of professionals - made many acquaintances.
My comments on: Location/Accommodations/Schedule, etc.
- Good
- Location - good. Accommodations - good. Very nice. Schedule - good. Glad we ended at 4:30 each day so days were
not completely full. Class room facilities couldn't be better.
- Excellent location and accommodations.
If I were running this
- The only thing I would have changed - creation of the web site at the end of the training instead of the 1st day.
- Name tags at opening reception.
