Comments
Session 1:
- Need more detailed stats. Example - charts show most growth in 65+ demo of web use. This doesn't describe total
share of web use/buying etc. 65+ might be growing most but what is its size relative to the other demos.
- Needed hard copy to take notes as to what was meaningful to my business.
- Very disappointed we didn't have time for the 4 Ways of Doing Business.
- Very good session. Speakers very good - very knowledgeable.
- Information on Yahoo's Site Builder was very practical help. Knowing that we had options and degrees of involvement
with out sourcing was helpful for making decisions.
Session 2:
- 4 Case Studies: 1-Corn Maze, 2-CJ Bows, 3-Quick Truss, 4-Trophy Buckles. 1,3 and 4 were not really web based
businesses (transactional). Only #2, CJ Bows actually sold on line. Was the internet really helping cases 1,3 and 4?
- Grand.
- Great! Success by real people!
- Very much enjoyed hearing all 3 speakers.
- 4 Excellent success stories - willingness of owners to share their experiences in developing and using their website.
- I enjoyed them! - Especially Darlene!
- Very enthusiastic and optimistic presenters. Makes one think it can be done!
Session 3:
- There's an awful lot to optimizing search.
- Very valuable information in examples of successful and not so successful sites.
- Thank you for the constructive criticism on my website Ð Beadsandblessing! I'm glad you chose mine.
- Too much info, too little time. Obviously very knowledge
- Providing "handouts" to audience on material presented to participants would be helpful - OK - on website good.
Speaker is very knowledgeable - excellent presenter.
- Great info will use in my development of my web site.
- Critique of sites was good practice at web analysis. I will never look at a web page the same way - including my own.
Session 4:
AGRICULTURE
- really have no comment. Only that the presentation was professional and presented very well.
RETAIL
- Excellent presenter. Beth Duncan very knowledgeable.
- Mechanics and step by step very helpful.
- Excellent!
ARTISANS
TOURISM
DID NOT MARK SESSION ATTENDED
MARKED TWO (AGRICULTURE & TOURISM) (Business from Utah attended trainer track)
- Both sessions were great. More site comparison, more ideas. The idea of a statewide or 4-corner ag web site intriguing.
