LAS CRUCES - New Mexico State University's last Aggie football home game on Nov. 20 will feature Agriculture Appreciation Day at Aggie Memorial Stadium.
NMSU's College of Agriculture and Home Economics will host a tent in Aggie Alley prior to the game. Starting at 11 a.m., Aggie fans can listen to live music from the Neal McCowan Band, enjoy free green chile stew, look at agricultural displays and watch for the Budweiser Clydesdales to make an appearance.
The game against the North Texas Eagles will start at 2 p.m. During halftime, the college will recognize the following groups for their commitment to New Mexico agriculture: New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau, New Mexico Cattle Growers' Association and Dairy Producers of New Mexico. The groups will receive the college's Dean's award for superior achievement, known as the Pistol Pete Award.
Aggie Alley is on Payne Street east of the Pan American Center.
