NMSU's Clovis science center plans wheat field day May 28
Farmers in eastern New Mexico and West Texas can learn about wheat production and variety selection at the 2008 Wheat Field Day at NMSU's Agricultural Science Center at Clovis on May 28.

Wheat variety trial results from Texas and New Mexico locations will be presented. Research plots will be available for attendees to observe during the field tour.

State 4-H Conference
State 4-H Conference will be held July 14-18 on the NMSU Campus. The Conference consists of contests, workshops, evening sessions, awards ceremony, and the election of new State Officers. More info...

Triennial Research Field Day

Triennial Research Field Day at Corona Range and Livestock Research Center will be on July 18. This event is held once every 3 years. Researchers will share important results of current studies beginning at 9:30 am. Topics include brush control, grazing distribution, heifer development, reproduction, bull selection, deer population dynamics & supplementation strategies. A tour of the ranch's research sites will be held after lunch.

NM 4-H Leaders' Forum
Annual statewide educational event for adult 4-H volunteer leaders. 4-H parents, faculty and staff are also encouraged to participate. Twenty workshops, educational displays and special activites comprise the Forum. It will be held at the Wyndham Hotel near the airport in Albuquerque.

New Mexico 4-H Forum for Adults
Formerly known as the New Mexico 4-H Leaders' Forum. It is an anuual statewide educational event for 4-H adult leaders, 4-H parents and 4-H professionals. It will be held at the Albuquerque Grand Airport Hotel (formerly the Wyndham) in Albuquerque.
