The Department prepares students for careers in a variety of fields related to management of living natural resources and their habitats. Further information is available in our Undergraduate Catalog where you can find a Program Description and a list of our Courses.

Undergraduate Handbook

The Department has prepared an Undergraduate Handbook to provide students seeking a Wildlife Major with information they will need to be successful. It is available for downloading and printing in two formats:

Options

Undergraduate students in our program receive a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Wildlife Science. We offer three options within the Wildlife Science Major.

  • Natural Resource Management - Students in this option receive training in basic science, management, economics, and earth science. The intention is to provide broad training equiping students either for graduate school in natural science or for positions in a wide variety of natural resource fields. We also offer a minor in Wildlife Science for students majoring in other areas, but who wish to obtain basic training in Wildlife Science.
