Degree Programs
The Department of Animal and Range Sciences offer two areas in which students may major:
- animal science
- rangeland resources
Programs are designed to offer a wide array of courses aimed at providing technical and practical experience in either animal production or a science option under animal science, and either rangeland resources management, ranch management, wildlife habitat management, or plant ecology and conservation options under rangeland resources.
Pre-veterinary requirements may also be a part of the the science option.
New to the department is the horse program, which offers students experience in nearly all facets of the horse industry.
